Not if you’re doing it this way.

A study being published this week in The New England Journal of Medicine announces that people put on “a highly restricted diet” had not recovered metabolically or hormonally a year later. And that’s just the ones who were actually able to stay on the diet.

For years, I’ve been teaching clients who come in frustrated and hungry that restricting calories damages and slows your metabolism, making it hard – if not impossible – to lose weight and keep it off.

Fortunately there is an alternative that works consistently, and you won’t feel hungry, you won’t feel deprived, and you will not only lose weight, you will lose body fat – not precious muscle, hydration, or bone. In fact, most clients are astonished that muscle, bone and hydration can increase, even without exercise, simply by re-balancing your nutrition correctly for you, when you send the right information, every time you eat, both hormonally and metabolically.

Want to know more? Read about my 13 Week Success Program, and the successes of many hundreds of clients who have used it to not only lose weight, but feel and look better than they ever have.

Hormones: When they’re in balance we feel happy, sexy, affectionate, easy-going and downright blissed out. When they’re out of balance we feel cranky, irritable and physically miserable. Sometimes it seems we can’t live with ‘em and we can’t live without ‘em. No one needs to suffer with hormonal changes, not in puberty, adolescence, reproductive years or menopause. Balancing your hormones naturally can dramatically change your quality of life for the better.

I have been trained and certified by Endocrinologist Diana Schwarzbein, M.D., in her program to heal your metabolism, lose excess fat, prevent and reverse the degenerative diseases of aging, and eliminate cravings and addictions. There are five stages to the program:

Using nutrition to balance hormones through food and supplements

Managing stress and sleep

Eliminating toxins

Hormonally correct exercise targeted to the state of your metabolism

Bioidentical hormone replacement if necessary

I am very proud to be among the first group of practitioners that Dr. Schwarzbein certified to take her approach to the public. My experience is that this is work that can benefit absolutely everyone, and I am very excited to share it with you.

I am also among a very small group that has been trained and certified by Dr. Schwarzbein in Gastroenterology. In fact, Dr. Schwarzbein is now saying that healing the gut is more primary, essential and fundamental to health than addressing hormones.

Degenerative diseases of aging are not genetic but acquired. Because the systems of the human body are interconnected and because one imbalance creates another imbalance, poor eating and lifestyle habits, not genetics, are the cause of degenerative disease.

—Diana Schwarzbein MD

For in-depth information that will help you understand how the Schwarzbein Principle Program can help you attain optimum health please click here. To start working with me on your own program, please make an appointment for an initial consultation.
