Surgery for Heartburn | Parade.com.
Surgery for heartburn is not necessary! In fact, neither is medication. I have never worked with a client who was not able to eliminate heartburn, GERD, acid reflux, or whatever else it is being labeled, simply by adjusting their nutrition.
Doesn’t it make sense to take an approach that actually supports your health – overall and for the long term? Eliminating or suppressing stomach acid interferes drastically with health. The stomach must be acidic in order to do its job. Long term suppression of stomach acid can result in osteoporosis and anemia, for instance, as minerals can not be absorbed if the stomach pH is too high.
If you would like help addressing this issue, please let me know! It may be simpler than you think to eliminate the suffering caused from heartburn.
