Good News: Cistus Tea Back in Stock

Update: I have a quantity of great quality cistus incanus and am able to sell it for $35 for a very full sandwich bag.  (picture to the right is of a smaller bag)  Plus shipping of $6.95 priority mail, if applicable.

This newest batch is pretty strong, so please keep in mind that if the tea tastes bitter, you should use less tea or more water. The flavor should be slightly tart but pleasant. I like mine with a couple of drops of pure liquid stevia.

Directions: Use 1 teaspoon per 8 oz boiling water. Steep 8-10 minutes. Tea should be re-used 3 times in order to derive all the different phytonutrients.

While Cistus Tea is making its reputation in the area of Lyme Disease, that is not the only reason to drink it.  Did you know that Cistus Tea is also a very powerful anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and detoxifier? Recent studies show it helps eliminate toxic heavy metals from cigarette smoke, dental fillings, and environmental pollution.  It can also help eliminate candida and H. pylori. Pat a concentrated tea on your skin to improve dermatitis, or just improve your complexion.  It is also anti-viral, immune supportive and cardiovascular supportive.

I would like to know more about your citrus tea. Is it organic? Wild crafted? Where is it sourced from? How fresh is the stock currently?

    Thank you,
    Stacie

  6. fransussman says:

Hi Stacie, it is wildcrafted, very fresh, from the Mediterranean, which is the only place it grows. Please forgive me for not divulging more about my source! It was hard to come by. It is very flavorful and rich in phytonutrients. And btw, Dr Klinghardt has now upped his recommendation to 6-8 cups daily!

I have heard cistus tea is antiviral and antibacterial- but it is also known for breaking open cysts/biofilm of spirochetes, if you have them! Is it safe to use without some stronger antibacterial? Many don’t know they have LYME or similar spirochetes, so what if the cysts are opened up, but the spirochetes not all killed? You could potentially be letting loose a bunch of bacteria that could colonize other places in the body (according to my doc, when he and I did not know it had any antiviral or antibacterial properties- now I am just not sure how able it is to kill what it may release)– do you have any idea about this? Thanks!

    Hi Cheryl,
thanks for your question. I am a practitioner with a large Lyme practice, and began importing cistus tea for myself and my clients. There was so much demand for it that I began getting requests from all over the country. However, I use it as part of a complete and completely customized program with my clients. I am certainly not saying that everyone should take it on their own regardless of what else they are doing or not doing. Anyone with a chronic health issue should be working consistently with a qualified professional.

Are you currently selling cistus tea? If so, what is your evaluation of its current strength? What is the weight of the baggy you’re selling?

    Thank you, Mira

  11. fransussman says:

Mira, I’m not sure I answered this by email. If not, I apologize. Yes, I always have cistus tea available. It is very vibrant, alive, tasty and potent. I am not a commercial seller and can not give you an exact weight. I fill a sandwich bag. And it is very economical as the tea should be used 3x before discarding.
