Hi Cindy. Corn is problematic for some, and not for others. Sometimes it is a secondary sensitivity, while gluten is always primary (see my article on food sensitivities for more on this.) Eliminating all grains would be a "paleo" approach, mimicking the paleolithic diet of protein, vegetables, a few fruits, some nuts and seeds, but no grains or legumes. Again, I don't find this helpful for everyone.
There is nothing as effective as knowing specifically what foods you can or can not tolerate and frankly, I don't believe full optimal health is possible without it. That is why my initial consultation always includes identifying food sensitivities, using muscle testing. In almost 20 years of practice, clients have found it highly reliable in terms of results.

Thank you for the good information! Many of these stories sound like me and my symptoms. I am newly diagnosed as gluten sensitive, however, my doctor tells me there are 2 schools of thought on the "gluten free" definition. The new school of thought is that corn and all the grains should be avoided. He says research is accumulating about corn being as problematic as wheat. I'm avoiding all grains at the current time, but I would love to introduce corn back into my diet.
